The invited architectural tender organized by Inreal Group for a multifunctional complex in the new centre of Vilnius received 4 proposals. Unique solutions from 4 architectural studios were presented to the tender commission and the public. The proposals can be viewed and commented on at the tender's website.
The object of the tender is a multifunctional high-rise complex of about 10,000 sq. m situated in Vilnius, Krokuvos str. 24 and 26. About 70% of the area should be used for residential premises, and 30% for administrative and commercial premises. The aim is to achieve a standard that is not less than the Breeam Excellent or LEED Gold standard.
"Our goal is to choose a proposal with innovative and integrated solutions that blend into the urban hill of Vilnius and the context of the new centre of the capital. We hope that the professionalism and extensive experience of the invited architects will help us find exceptionally creative and sustainable solutions for this location," says Gediminas Pruskus, the Head of Inreal Group and Chair of the Tender Evaluation Commission. According to him, the very fact of the tender is not a guarantee that the project will be implemented, however its attractive architectural vision would become a strong incentive.
A commission meeting will be held on February 9 to select the winner. The public can submit proposals until 8 February 2022, 12:00 via e-mail to info@k26.lt.
The tender is organized in accordance with the Provisional Regulations on the Organization of Architectural Tenders of the Council of the Architects’ Chamber of Lithuania, approved by Resolution No T20-01 of 22 January 2020.
