INREAL Group has completed the reconstruction and conversion project “Marių vėtrungės” in Nida (Vėtrungių st. 7, Neringa[1]). The project involved the development of a complex consisting of eight buildings spread across a 77-acre area. A total of 78 apartments and holiday apartments were finished and sold. The project’s overall area reaches 4,346 sq. m. Investments in the project amounted to 9.8 million euros. Notably, this marks the tenth project undertaken by INREAL Group in the Curonian Spit.
“Marių vėtrungės” stands out as the first converted recreation block in Nida, not comprising just one or two buildings, but an impressive total of eight. “We completed the development of the project despite facing challenging circumstances. It is noteworthy that the INREAL team effectively managed to control the growing costs and meet deadlines without altering the prices of the signed sale-purchase contracts. This applies not only to this project but also to the nearby “Miško vėtrungės”, says Andrius Anusauskas, Head of INREAL Group. Anusauskas further emphasizes that despite the increased construction prices, investing in real estate within exclusive and appreciating areas like the Curonian Spit remains one of the most reliable methods to resist inflation.
All apartments in the “Marių vėtrungės” block were sold fully furnished. The apartment sizes range from 24 to 88 sq. m. Notably, the block is adorned with wind vanes designed by architect Adomas Šablevičius and sculptor Vaidotas Bliūdžius. The territory is well-equipped with recreational areas, a children’s playground, designated spaces for bicycles and cars, as well as auxiliary facilities.
The project “Marių vėtrungės” was designed by GAL architektai, a company renowned for their creative ideas. They have previously collaborated with INREAL Group on several projects in Neringa, including “Kopų vėtrungės,” “Nidos Rytys,” and “Labas, Jūra!”
Binkauskas ir Stašinskas, UAB served as the general contractor for the construction of the project.
“Marių vėtrungės” was honoured as the Best Project of the Future in the “For Sustainable Development 2021” competition. The adjacent project, “Miško vėtrungės,” is currently under development and is expected to be completed by the fall of 2023. 84 percent of the housing units in the project have already been sold.
